This was a project that I had designed during lockdown. With the abundance of uninterrupted free time, I was able to devote all my creativity to Michelle’s project. This design was inspired entirely by luxury.

Initially, I began with neutral base colours to create an elegant and timeless space with an added glamorous touch, hence the cushions and bed throw having metallic threading and a quilted finish.

After discussing Michelle’s vision for the space, Michelle had made it clear that she wanted the headboard in her room to be the focal point and create the wow factor she was after!

Working back and forth with my team, I was able to create a beautifully panelled headboard that was fashioned with luxurious leather and smoked mirrored elements, all of which was trimmed in antique brass and dark stained wood.
In addition to this centrepiece, I included a cosy sofa with soft curves to sit at the end of Michelle’s bed for her to lounge throughout the day with her kids.

This was the perfect piece to add that cosiness back into the space. With regards to cabinetry in the room, Michelle had asked that her original wardrobes be kept and used in this new design.

To make this work, I elevated this job using textured designer wallpaper and high-quality Zoffany paint colours to pull the look together.
