SpringHill Suites by Marriott, the official hotel partner of the US Soccer Federation, is expanding its presence in the soccer market through new partnerships and fan experiences.

The all-suite hotel brand announced collaborations with US Youth Soccer (USYS), the country’s largest youth sports organisation, and former US Women’s National Team star Sydney Leroux.

The partnerships aim to support families travelling for youth soccer tournaments and connect with fans attending major national team matches.

SpringHill Suites caters to families on the go, making it a natural fit for the youth soccer market.

The brand offers spacious guest rooms that can accommodate up to six people, along with family-friendly amenities.

Many locations are conveniently situated near sports complexes, offering a familiar atmosphere for travelling families.

The new multi-year deal with USYS strengthens SpringHill Suites’ commitment to the segment.

The brand will play a prominent role at USYS tournaments from autumn 2024, further engaging with young athletes and their families.

SpringHill Suites is also upping the ante for fans attending major national team matches.

The brand’s “Space for the Whole Team” programme will be featured at the 12 June US Men’s National Team vs Brazil match and the 13 July US Women’s National Team vs Mexico match.

SpringHill Suites is offering exclusive Marriott Bonvoy Moments experiences at both games, including ticket packages, pre-game tours and hotel stays.

“As game day approaches, SpringHill Suites’ all-suite offerings ease families’ needs while on the road,” said Diana Plazas-Trowbridge, senior vice-president and global brand leader for select brands at Marriott International, in a statement.

“The number of families staying with us as they travel for youth sports has increased tenfold and made partnering with the US Soccer Federation, and now US Youth Soccer, incredibly timely and meaningful to our guests.”
