Westmont, LRO, Atypio and Didier Ferre take control of Naos Group's hotel assets

International news
The group - which boasted a portfolio of Hilton and Marriott hotels in France before it went bankrupt in October 2023 - will see its hotels distributed amongst Westmont Hospitality Group, Atypio, London & Regional’s LRO Hospitality and Didier Ferre, a source told Hospitality Investor.

Naos was placed in receivership following its inability to pay debts of over €650,000. For the first six months of FY2023, the company posted revenue of €38 million and net loss of €10 million.

In April this year, the administrator launched a call for applications to take over the entire group, either by joining forces with an existing hotel group or by outright purchase at the bar of the Commercial Court.

The court has now awarded Westmont Hospitality the Hilton Garden Inn La Villette, Hilton Garden Inn Bordeaux Centre and Aloft Strasbourg, with the Nice Sheraton Airport awarded to ICG and Westmont. Hilton Garden Inn Le Havre has been awarded to Atypio, Hilton Garden Inn Massy to LRO, and the Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton in Tours to Didier Ferre. The Hampton by H CLICHY will be liquidated.

France remains a strategic market for hotel investment, as evidenced by the interest from global and regional players in Naos’s portfolio.
