Standing at an impressive height of 111 feet, the Christmas tree at Taj Aravali has set a new standard, and the formalities for securing a place in the Limca Book of World Records are currently underway. This towering creation, crafted over 50 days by a team of 25 dedicated workers employing bamboo, stands as a testament to the spirit of the last festival of the year.
The unveiling ceremony attracted prominent figures from the Udaipur city, turning it into a star-studded affair. Pradyumn, the General Manager of Taj Aravali, shared with News18 that the decision to create the record-breaking Christmas tree at this location was inspired by the expansive space and height of the property, resulting in significant attention and acclaim.
In a nod to history, Taj Bombay, established in 1903, played a pivotal role in this celebration. As the Taj Group of Hotels marked its 120th year, the commemorative event unfolded in the enchanting city of Udaipur on Saturday, that is, 13th December 2024.
