TV chef Dom Taylor dies suddenly aged 44 as tributes paid to 'pioneering' Channel 4 star

Soon after the chef won the cooking show, he began a 10-month residency at the luxury London hotel The Langham, with his Caribbean restaurant The Good Food Room. The restaurant received rave reviews and has since moved to Dalston, Hackney.

Just five weeks ago, Dom shared on social media that he loved that people came together in his restaurant and encouraged his followers to swing by: "One of the things I love most about The Good Front Room is seeing people come together around a table. Friends catching up, families sharing food, people meeting for the first time and leaving as friends.

"That’s what we’ve tried to create here. A place that feels welcoming, relaxed and full of good energy. If you’ve not been down for a while, it’d be great to see you. If you’ve never visited before, come and say hello. Dom Taylor."
