Tui outlines global hotel expansion to 600 properties

The ambitious plan for the “medium term” was declared as the company opened Tui Blue properties in China and Malaysia, following new hotels in Thailand and Vietnam.

The brand is making its debut in China with three hotels and with one in Malaysia.

The next Tui Blue hotels are planned for Bangkok and Bali.

Tui Blue is contributing to the development of the Europoean travel group’s global hotel portfolio, which is set to grow to 600 hotels in the medium term, according to the company.

Tui Blue Hotels & Resorts managing director Artur Gerber said: “Our rapid expansion in China and Southeast Asia underscores the strong demand for the Tui Blue brand in these fast-growing travel markets.
