The Hotel Group and Hogback Development Company to develop Marriott StudioRes in Moses Lake, Washington
The Hotel Group (THG), an affiliate of Hotel Equities, in partnership with co-owners Hogback Development Company, announce it has acquired land to develop a Marriott StudioRes in Moses Lake, WA. StudioRes is Marriott International’s new midscale, extended stay lodging brand appealing to investors for its focus on the short-term rental market and building/design efficiencies.

The Marriott StudioRes Moses Lake is the 5th hotel development project that THG and Hogback have partnered to build. Construction is set to begin early 2025, with an anticipated opening in Spring 2026. The hotel’s site is located adjacent to the co-owner’s already open and operating Fairfield Inn & Suites Moses Lake. THG and Hogback are dedicated to ensuring the new-build Marriott StudioRes will set a new benchmark for hospitality with extended stay hotels in the region.
