ROMEO Napoli debuts first Alain Ducasse restaurant located in Italy

The ROMEO Collection, an Italian luxury hospitality group with a strong international focus and a member of the prestigious Small Luxury Hotels of the World, is inaugurating the tenth floor of its Naples property, bringing to the heart of the Neapolitan city, just steps away from Piazza del Plebiscito, the region of Campania’s most spectacular infinity pool. 

Strategically positioned, the 120-square-meter pool offers an extraordinary view of the Mediterranean’s blue, Mount Vesuvius, and Capri. It’s an exclusive destination where guests can immerse themselves in the spirit and values of the Group.

Lucassino has previously worked at the Plaza Athénée on Avenue Montaigne, another establishment owned by the chef. In 2011, Alain Ducasse offered him the chance to lead the Salon des Manufactures on rue des Petits Champs in Paris, where Lucassino showcased remarkable skills and creativity. Monsieur Ducasse recognized his talent and subsequently invited him to work at Cucina, his Italian restaurant in Paris. Each dish reflects the rich flavours of the Neapolitan region, where the Tyrrhenian Sea meets the Apennines, and the influence of Mount Vesuvius and the local winds are evident. Food preparations begin in the open kitchen and continue in the elegant dining room adorned with artworks, offering guests an exceptional experience of harmony and flavour. The cellar, boasting over 16,000 bottles carefully selected from 1,500 prestigious international labels, completes the dining experience.
