Premier Inn makes its debut in Austria with its first hotel in Vienna

The Viennese hotel market welcomes a new player with the opening of Premier Inn Wien City, the first establishment of the British chain in Austria. This project is part of Premier Inn’s expansion strategy, which already operates 60 hotels in Germany.
The building, located near Vienna's central station, was constructed in 2005 for hotel use and was acquired by Premier Inn in March 2023. Since then, significant renovation work has been carried out, including the modernization of rooms, renovation of bathrooms, and aesthetic improvements both inside and outside. The complete renovation is scheduled for completion by July 2025.
The hotel offers 180 modern rooms, including 29 Premier Inn Plus rooms, providing superior comfort. Room categories include double rooms, family rooms, and options accessible to people with reduced mobility. These spaces have an average size of 20 square meters. Additionally, a private underground parking garage is available, accommodating 31 vehicles.
