Police: Bridgeport man kicked baby, fracturing six of his ribs in Stratford hotel - A Bridgeport man has been accused of kicking a 3-month-old child, fracturing six of the boy's ribs, according to a warrant for his arrest.

The child's mother told police the boy was in good health the day before when Companiony and another woman picked him up, the affidavit said. 

The mother told police the other woman called her earlier on July 23 and said Companiony threw the boy on a bed during an argument and the child wouldn't stop crying, the affidavit said. But when police interviewed the other woman, she denied Companiony hurt the boy, the affidavit said.
