Nobu Hospitality to open luxury hotel in Manchester

Luxury lifestyle brand Nobu Hospitality has announced a new development in Manchester, UK, which is set to offer a luxury hotel, restaurant and residences.

The Viadux 2 project will be a partnership with UK property developer Salboy and is expected to become the tallest building outside London, with a height of 246m.

Nobu Hospitality CEO Trevor Horwell said: “We are proud to include Manchester in our global collection, with its vibrant culture and growing global status.

The 76-storey Viadux 2 will encompass 160 hotel rooms, event spaces, and a Nobu restaurant and bar, all designed with a minimalist aesthetic.

Salboy co-founder Simon Ismail said: “This £360m deal for Nobu Manchester will take the city to new heights in terms of service, cuisine, and experience. Chef Nobu’s cuisine, renowned worldwide, has influenced dining across the globe. Even if you haven’t dined at a Nobu restaurant, you have likely experienced dishes inspired by his innovations.
