Neka Sulaiman to Lead HiLITE’s 1,000 Key Hotel Push
HiLITE Group has appointed Neka Sulaiman as Director of HiLITE Holdings, placing her in charge of the group’s hospitality division as it targets the development of 1,000 hotel keys across Kerala by 2030.
Sulaiman, daughter of HiLITE Group Chairman P. Sulaiman, will lead the company’s expansion into luxury, upscale and midscale hotels. Kozhikode will be a key market, with the group betting on rising demand driven by business, tourism, healthcare and education.
The move marks HiLITE Group’s push into hospitality beyond its existing presence in retail, residential, commercial and business infrastructure development.
Neka Sulaiman previously gained operational experience with Hug a Mug, the group’s homegrown café brand, working across customer service, operations and team coordination. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree and has completed CMA.
With the new leadership structure, HiLITE Group is seeking to build hospitality into a major business vertical and expand Kerala’s hotel infrastructure over the next four years.
