Meliá Hotels announces bold luxury expansion with 15 New openings by 2025

Meliá Hotels International, Spain’s hotel group and the third largest in Europe, is set to enhance its luxury portfolio with 15 new hotel openings by 2025, showcasing ambitious expansions across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
Known for its cultural vibrancy and design excellence, ME by Meliá will debut in Malta, Lisbon, Marbella, and Malaga in 2025. ME Lisbon, opening early in the year, will feature panoramic rooftop views, world-class culinary, and over 600 square metres of event space in the heart of the Portuguese capital. Meanwhile, ME Marbella and ME Malaga are set to follow in Q2 2025, with further expansions planned in Greece, Albania, China, and Mexico.
The boutique Meliá Collection continues to grow, with Residenza Cardinale in Milan and Ba Vi Mountain near Hanoi joining in 2025. These properties promise culturally immersive experiences, following the recent success of Madrid’s Casa de las Artes.
