Megaworld transforms Grand Westside into world’s biggest Mövenpick hotel

International news
The deal with Accor formalizes the conversion of the roughly 1,530-room Grand Westside into Mövenpick Manila Bay Westside, securing a global hospitality brand for what will stand as a flagship in the Entertainment City casino complex.

Brand alignment, systems integration, and operational upgrades begin next year, leading to an opening before the end of 2026.

The 19-storey, two-tower Mövenpick Manila Bay Westside sits inside the 31-hectare Westside City township in Parañaque, connected via skybridge to the future casino-entertainment complex.

“The opening of the world’s largest Mövenpick is a powerful testament to our group’s efforts to scale our world-class offerings and meet the demands of the broader international market,” said Cleofe Albiso, managing director of Megaworld Hotels & Resorts.

Megaworld Hotels & Resorts currently manages nearly 7,000 room keys across 15 properties, with six additional hotels adding more than 2,000 keys in the pipeline.
