Lush sets its sights on the UK hotel sector

International news
Ethical cosmetics retailer Lush has revealed bold plans to expand into the UK hospitality sector with the launch of a Lush-branded hotel.

The company confirmed it is currently exploring opportunities to open its first UK hotel in collaboration with a British brand, though details remain under wraps.

If realised, the move would mark a significant evolution for Lush, blending its retail and spa experiences with a fully-fledged hospitality concept. The company already operates spas in other markets including in the US, Canada and the Middle East.

Lush’s entry into the hotel sector signals the continued blurring of lines between retail, lifestyle and hospitality - an increasingly attractive space for investors and developers seeking to tap into the experiential travel trend.
