IHG approves Oracle OPERA Cloud for hotels globally

International news
IHG Hotels & Resorts has approved Oracle OPERA Cloud as a cloud-based property management system for IHG properties across the Americas and EMEAA regions.

The approval adds Oracle to IHG's list of approved property management systems. IHG said franchisees and hotel owners can select OPERA Cloud while meeting IHG standards.

IHG's approval covers the Americas and EMEAA, which IHG defines as Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Oracle said OPERA Cloud is designed for complex hotels and multi-property portfolios.

Oracle said IHG properties that adopt OPERA Cloud can standardise operations and data on one platform. It positioned the approach as a way to improve visibility across hotel performance and deliver more consistent interactions with guests and loyalty members.

The companies have an existing relationship. Oracle cited IHG among its hospitality partners and pointed to its work with other hotel groups including Hyatt, Marriott, Wyndham, Accor, and Best Western.
