IHG announces return of InterContinental brand to Serbia

International news
IHG Hotels & Resorts is set to reintroduce its InterContinental Hotels & Resorts brand to Serbia, marking its return after a 20-year absence. In partnership with Delta Holding, the new InterContinental Belgrade is scheduled to open by the end of 2026.

The hotel will offer 203 rooms, including various accommodation options such as Premium Rooms, Junior Suites, Superior Suites, Executive Suites, and a Presidential Suite with city views. Designed to meet the needs of both leisure and business travelers, the hotel will feature a range of amenities.

IHG currently operates three hotels in Belgrade: Hotel Indigo Belgrade, Crowne Plaza Belgrade, and Holiday Inn Belgrade, and is developing two additional Holiday Inn Express properties. The addition of InterContinental Belgrade will expand IHG’s portfolio in the Balkans, which includes nearly 20 properties in Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, and Northern Republic of Macedonia.
