The company said the product expands its pool of rate shopping data and adds new market performance analysis for hotel revenue teams. It said the tool compares real-time activity across multiple products, offerings and room types.
IDeaS describes Rate Data Advantage as an enhancement to its revenue management software. The company operates as a subsidiary of SAS.
IDeaS said the new product draws on a much larger volume of consumer rate shopping information than earlier tools. It put the increase at nearly 400 times more data. The company said that change adds detail across room types, product offerings, lengths of stay and distribution channels.
IDeaS said Rate Data Advantage is selectively available for existing clients. The company did not disclose pricing or the number of hotels currently using the product in Australia, Asia and New Zealand.
The company said it has more than 30,000 installations globally across hotels, resorts, global hotel chains, cruise lines and parking brands. It said it will expand access to Rate Data Advantage to more clients over time.
