Ibis London Earls Court to split into dual-branded property

The existing ibis London Earls Court has announced plans to split into a dual-branded ibis and Mercure property later this month.
A phased repositioning will begin at the end of July, with the ibis section of the hotel offering 226 rooms starting from £109 per night, and the Mercure section initially offering 144 rooms starting from £149 per night.
The Mercure-branded rooms will feature a ‘Layers of Time’ theme inspired by Doctor Who’s Tardis, a replica of which stands in front of Earl’s Court station, and additional Mercure rooms are set to be added later this year.
A new restaurant and bar will also open under the name Barnaby’s, themed around a character of the same name “who returns to London to enjoy his 60s at home after spending many years adventuring abroad and discovering the world”.
