After the initial inspection, a notification was sent to the hotel management on Friday requesting that they address the problems found. Nevertheless, despite their promises to take corrective action, nothing changed. The Food Safety Authority (FSA) staff visited the Alpha hotel again on Sunday. They discovered that the management had not satisfactorily addressed the issues with food safety. As a result, GHMC decided to seal the hotel. Officials from the GHMC will talk to the district government and look for more enforcement against the hotel’s management. (As per The Siasat Daily)

Recently, after receiving several complaints about hygiene, FDA authorities reportedly conducted a raid on the Bademiya stores in Colaba. In the kitchen, authorities discovered rats and cockroaches.
In addition, they discovered that, despite a 76-year history, Bademiya lacks a current license from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. These two factors led to the sudden closure of this well-known kebab shop in Mumbai.
