Honda India Foundation and Marriot Group Join Hands to Boost Employment in Hospitality Sector
In a significant move towards community empowerment and youth employment, Honda India Foundation (HIF) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Marriot Group of Hotels.
This collaboration, under the ambit of Project Buniyaad, aims to provide 100% job placement for approximately 1000 youths from the North-eastern states and the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in the hospitality sector.
It embodies a commitment to social responsibility, skill development, and sustainable growth, reflecting both organizations’ dedication to creating a positive and lasting impact on society.
Project Buniyaad is built on four distinct foundations: Honda India Foundation as the funding partner, the State Government as the Infrastructure and Mobilization Support partner, Visan Foundation as the Training partner, and leading hotels, including Marriot, as the Placement partner. With Marriot as the placement partner, this MOU ensures a seamless pathway for trained individuals to secure employment across various Marriot properties nationwide.
