The tool was previously available on a city level to show city-wide price trends, but is now available on a property-by-property basis, Google shared with Travel + Leisure.
To sign up for these alerts, travelers must be signed in to their account and search a specific hotel by name. They must then tap the new price tracking toggle, which can be found on a desktop browser or under the “prices” tab on a mobile browser. Vacationers will then receive email alerts if rates change significantly during their chosen dates, according to Google.
Hotel price tracking is also available directly through Google hotels with the price tracking toggle visible on either the “overview” or “prices” tab.
Google said price tracking is available around the world in both English and Spanish.
