Gáldu Hotel & Spa Opens in Finnish Lapland | A New Arctic Boutique Wellness Retreat

Gáldu Hotel & Spa features 31 thoughtfully designed rooms, including 29 generously sized standard rooms of 25 square metres and two 50-square-metre Signature Suites offering elevated treetop views across the surrounding forest canopy and open sky.

Each room is fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows that invite Arctic light deep into the interior, fostering a sense of stillness and connection to the landscape. During the winter months, guests may witness the northern lights directly from their beds, a defining experience of staying above the Arctic Circle.

At the heart of the hotel lies Gáldu Spa, named after the Sámi word for “cold spring”. The spa offers one of the world’s northernmost outdoor wellness experiences, designed to harness the therapeutic power of contrast bathing in an Arctic setting.

Facilities include three saunas, a warm indoor pool, an outdoor jacuzzi and the hotel’s signature cold plunge, set against the quiet backdrop of snow-covered forest or midnight sun.
