Four Seasons Hotel Austin Unveils an Immersive Digital Wine Tasting Experience

International news
Four Seasons Hotel Austin invites guests to uncork a new chapter in experiential dining with the debut of its Immersive Digital Wine Tasting Experience, created in collaboration with award-winning TableMation Studios. Launching this fall at Ciclo, the innovative program fuses cinematic projection technology with the timeless art of winemaking, transporting guests through some of the world’s most celebrated wine regions.

At Ciclo’s custom-designed immersive table, 4K laser projections transform the tabletop into a panoramic journey through France, Italy, and Napa Valley. As vineyards bloom and grapes are harvested in vivid motion, guests are guided by Andrea Robinson, one of the world’s most distinguished wine experts. An American sommelier, chef, television personality, and author, Robinson is one of just thirty-two female Master Sommeliers globally and the first woman ever named Best Sommelier in the United States by the Sommelier Society of America. Through the immersive animation, she leads guests on a virtual exploration of terroir, varietals, and tradition.

Bringing the experience to life in real time, Four Seasons Hotel Austin Sommelier Joe Peña personally hosts each session, curating and presenting a selection of rare and exceptional wines. As Robinson narrates on screen, Peña introduces each pour, offering insights into provenance, tasting notes, and pairing nuances, merging cinematic storytelling with authentic, tableside expertise.

The Immersive Digital Wine Tasting Experience is offered at select showtimes throughout the season, priced at USD 215 per guest (price subject to change). Each experience includes guided tastings and light accompaniments.
