The relocation is with his son and wife Gemma Wayne-Wills, whose was cluster director of marketing at Mar Hall, which was acquired by JA Resorts & Hotels last month.
Also during August, Wayne-Willis announced his departure as chief executive of Crerar Hotels after five years.
Its most recent results showed a 10% rise in room revenue, which supported gross profit rising from £7.8m to £8.8m, along with growing the portfolio to seven hotels and inns.
Wayne-Wills has also stepped down as chair of UKHospitality Scotland, after three years in the role.
