Floating hotels for CEOs

International news
The Piano Land, a cruise ship serving as a floating hotel for business leaders attending the upcoming APEC CEO Summit, docks at Yeongilman Harbor in Pohang on Tuesday.

The Piano Land, with 850 rooms, and the Eastern Venus, with 250 rooms, will accommodate more than 1,000 participants, including top executives and their entourages, during the APEC summit.

The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which brought the two cruise ships to Korea, is hosting the 2025 APEC CEO Summit in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, from Oct. 28-31. Leaders from 16 of the 21 APEC member economies and about 1,700 global CEOs are expected to attend.
