The move has been on the cards since HM broke news of the impending deal in August and includes 15 long-term hotel management agreements and 3,200 rooms under third-party brands including ten Holiday Inn Express, two Hotel Indigo, Sydney’s Kimpton Margot, Sebel Canberra on Campbell and Voco Auckland.
Pro-invest Group will retain asset management responsibilities for the 15 hotels owned by the three hotel investment funds via its fund management platform.
“Today, the official launch of EVT Connect Hospitality, seeded by the successful completion of the Pro-invest Hotels acquisition, marks another significant milestone in our hotel’s growth strategy, a priority for our Group,” EVT Chief Executive Officer, Jane Hastings said.
