Divan Hotel Group Welcomes Ziya Alper Önder as the New General Manager
Divan Hotel Group, one of Turkey’s most iconic hospitality brands, has announced the appointment of Ziya Alper Önder as its new General Manager. This move marks a significant leadership change for the group, which has been shaping Turkey’s hospitality landscape for almost 70 years.
Ziya Alper Önder’s career trajectory has been one of strategic growth and transformation. A graduate of Istanbul Erkek Lisesi and Boğaziçi University’s Economics Department, Önder’s career began in 1995 at PwC, where he worked his way up to become a partner in 2006. His expertise in audit, financial analysis and corporate transformation laid the foundation for his future leadership roles.
In 2012, Önder joined Doğuş Holding, where he took on senior roles within Doğuş Yeme-İçme, Turizm ve Perakende Grubu, overseeing key functions such as internal audit, finance, procurement, supply chain, operations and investment processes. His work in optimizing complex operational structures and leading large-scale projects in financial restructuring and organizational transformation makes him ideally suited to manage Divan Hotel Group’s diverse portfolio.
