Israeli hospitality group Dan Hotels is entering the United States for the first time, agreeing to acquire the NoMo SoHo hotel in New York City for $125 million, the company said.

Located at 9 Crosby Street in Manhattan’s SoHo district, NoMo SoHo rises 26 floors and includes 264 rooms and suites. The property features the NoMo Kitchen restaurant, the Sip Happens café, meeting rooms, and a fitness center, and offers panoramic views of the New York City skyline. Dan Hotels said it plans to renovate the hotel following the purchase.

Dan Hotels is one of Israel’s leading hospitality brands, controlled by the Federmann family, with a portfolio spanning Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Herzliya, Haifa, Caesarea, the Dead Sea, and Eilat. Flagship properties include the King David in Jerusalem, the Dan Tel Aviv, and resort hotels in Eilat, alongside the business-focused Dan Panorama line and the lifestyle LINK brand.

The chain also manages select properties abroad, including The Den in Bengaluru, India. The NoMo SoHo purchase marks its first owned hotel in the United States. The deal follows Dan Hotels’ international expansion to India with The Den and marks a strategic step into the US market.
