Brown Hotels Europe: A New Chapter in Hospitality

International news
Brown Hotels Europe, founded in Israel, has expanded its international presence across Greece, Cyprus, Croatia and, most recently, Germany, where the group is adding six hotels and more than 1,500 rooms to its portfolio.

“Our focus has always been on creating hotels with a distinct identity and a strong guest experience and bringing that philosophy to every segment in which we operate. As we have grown, we have applied that philosophy across different segments, from urban hotels to resorts,” explains Spiros Ioannou, CEO of Brown Hotels Greece & Cyprus.

Brown Hotels Europe is entering a new phase under the ownership of Israel Canada Hotels, combining portfolio expansion with a broader strategy focused on investment, hotel management and third-party partnerships.

Today, Brown Hotels has a substantial presence in Israel and Greece, with 26 hotels in Israel and a portfolio of 12 properties in Greece, complemented by Paphos Hills by Brown Hotels in Cyprus and Brown Beach House Croatia Hotel & Spa. Its latest expansion into Germany adds six further hotels and more than 1,500 rooms to the group’s international portfolio.

Across its five markets, Brown Hotels’ wider portfolio comprises approximately 50 hotels and around 6,500 rooms.

Over the past two years, the group has also become increasingly active in third-party hotel management. Through Brown Hospitality Management, the group works with hotel owners and investors under a range of operating models, from properties rebranded and operated under the Brown Hotels brand to independent hotels managed under white-label agreements.
