Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam opens

Avani Hotels & Resorts, the upscale lifestyle brand of Minor Hotels, has expanded its European presence with the opening of Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam, a 163-room hotel in the city's museum district.
The canal-side property, targeting both the business and leisure markets, offers a blend of Old World and 1960s design elements, including a glass facade, geometric patterns and block colors.
Accommodations are on seven floors, and some have panoramic views. Amenities include the AvaniFit gym, a lobby lounge, the Pantry for grab-and-go dining and an outdoor terrace overlooking an interior courtyard.
Making the most of its location close to the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk Museum, the property offers a Street Art Tour.
