Auberge to manage The Woodward in Geneva

International news
Auberge Resorts Collection on Feb. 1 will take over management of The Woodward, a lakeside hotel in Geneva, Switzerland. The luxury hotel, housed in a building dating to 1901, has been part of the Oetker Collection. It will be Auberge's first hotel in Switzerland.

The Woodward has 26 rooms, 21 of which offer views of Lake Geneva. Among the property's top-tier accommodations is its Royal Suite, which has a private elevator, a 10-seat dining room and four lake-facing balconies.

The Woodward is also known as a culinary destination. It is home to L'Atelier Robuchon, a restaurant with two Michelin stars helmed by executive chef Olivier Jean and executive pastry chef Titouan Claudet. The hotel also has an outpost of Le Jardinier, a restaurant concept by Michelin-starred chef Alain Verzeroli, and the Bar 37 piano lounge.

The hotel's wellness area spans two floors and nearly 13,000 square feet, anchored by the Guerlain Spa. Wellness amenities include six spa treatment suites, an indoor swimming pool and fitness and hydrotherapy areas.

The addition of The Woodward comes amid a period of European expansion for Auberge, which in March plans to open Collegio alla Querce in Florence, Italy, followed by Cambridge House in London's Mayfair district.
