Armed police storm Wrexham hotel in huge operation using battering rams

Witnesses reported seeing more than 10 police vehicles at Rossett Hall Hotel in Wrexham following a major incident involving armed officers where battering rams were used

And now the hotel along with North Wales Police have issued statements about the incident where a person has been detained.

Chief Inspector Wes Williams said that it was an "isolated incident" and that it was brought to a "safe conclusion", reported NorthWalesLive.

He stated: "Officers were called to an incident at a hotel in Rossett earlier today where a male was detained. I would like to reassure the community that this was an isolated incident, it was brought to a safe conclusion, and to thank them for their patience."

And a statement from the hotel said that police responded to an incident involving a "vulnerable individual" which was resolved and the hotel was back operating as normal.

It read: "Following an incident at Rossett Hall this afternoon involving a vulnerable individual, we would like to express our sincere thanks to North Wales Police for their swift and professional response. The situation has now been fully resolved, and the hotel is operating as normal."
