A representative for Alexico Group declined to comment.

The Mark’s offerings include The Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges and penthouses, including one dubbed The Central Park that sleeps ten and is listed at $45,000 per night, excluding taxes and fees. The five-star hotel, which has about 150 rooms, is a destination for A-listers and has hosted Met Gala invitees for years.

Alexico Group, led by Izak Senbahar, has built a slew of Manhattan properties including luxury residential towers such as 56 Leonard in Tribeca and 165 Charles St. in the West Village.
