A brand-new Dolly Parton hotel and museum will debut in Nashville this month

Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel and Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum will open in tandem on Tuesday, September 29; situated at 126 3rd Avenue North in Nashville, Tennessee, the property will stand as a permanent tribute to the music, style and spirit of the global icon. (Parton died in Nashville on Tuesday, August 25, at the age of 80.)

Built in partnership with Herschend—Dolly’s longtime collaborator behind Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort—the SongTeller Hotel is Dolly's love letter to Nashville, with 245 unique rooms in the heart of the city. The property also doubles as a live music destination with two dedicated venues: Jolene’s, on the top floor, is a lively lounge with craft cocktails and elevated small plates plus nightly performances from Music City’s newest songwriting talent, while the intimate Parton’s Live on the second floor will host classic writers’ rounds and showcase events.

Occupying the entire third floor of the hotel and clocking in at more than 20,000 square feet, Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum chronicles her journey from a humble Smoky Mountain cabin to global music stardom. Curated by Dolly’s sister Rachel Parton George and niece Rebecca Seaver, the venue pairs rare personal artifacts with interactive video displays. The displays, recorded by Dolly herself, guide visitors through key moments of her life and career.
