The closures follow an increase in inspections across the country after the tragic fire at a hotel in Bolu’s Kartalkaya ski resort, which claimed the lives of 78 people.
According to official reports, 93 unregistered businesses were ordered to cease operations during the inspections. Additionally, the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism conducted on-site inspections at 58 accommodation facilities, resulting in the revocation of 32 operating licenses.
Authorities stated that ongoing monitoring is in place for the remaining 26 facilities, and legal action will be taken against those failing to obtain the necessary permits within the designated timeframe.
