There are 92 apartments in total, each with fully equipped kitchens, living and dining areas, and workspaces. In-room amenities include Bramley toiletries, fresh linens and Hypnos beds, while tapestry prints from House of Hackney adorn the walls.

It is the fourth London site for the brand and guests can choose from studios as well as one, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

Each townhouse has been named after British fashion designers and international designers who transformed British attire and style from the 17th century onwards. From Anna Maria Garthwaite, an English textile designer in the mid-18th century known for creating vivid floral designs hand-woven in Spitalfields, London, to Rose Bertin, the dressmaker to Marie Antoinette, Queen of France, who opened a shop in London in the 1790’s.

The aparthotel is also home to COUNTER; a coffee shop by day and wine bar by night which was developed by Native Places and can also be found in its properties in Edinburgh and Manchester.

Native has seven sites across London, including Bankside, Hyde Park, Mayfair and St Paul’s, and properties in Manchester and Scotland.

Speaking to Boutique Hotelier last year, Native’s managing director Olivia Immesi said “the cultural programming angle is huge” for the brand and that she wanted to focus on activating the lobby spaces at Native properties.

She told BH: “I wanted to really focus on how we could make the lobby space inviting, because if you have a nice environment in the heart of the hotel, that drives people to stay and it supports with driving your average daily rate. The more that you have that inviting feeling in the general public areas, it supports with everything throughout the building.”
