The Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa underwent a $20 million renovation and will host 215 guest rooms and villa suites placed among “olive trees ... citrus groves and flower gardens,” the company said in a news release. The rooms are a nod to the Tommy Bahama lifestyle brand with funky palm trees and other island-inspired wallpaper, banana leaf textures and wood finishes. “With this resort, we’re crafting an entirely new concept of leisure, fusing our brand’s essence with the unparalleled beauty of this desert oasis and creating a destination where every moment feels like a timeless escape,” Doug Wood, CEO of Tommy Bahama, said in the release.

The resort also plans to roll out new restaurants and bars. Grapefruit Basil will serve brunch and dinner with “coastal-inspired dishes” and craft cocktails, while the Grapefruit Basil Bar serves up small plates and specialty tropical rum drinks. Chiki Palm, the pool bar, will provide tiki cocktails and poolside bites. The resort also has three saltwater swimming pools, a 12,000-square-foot spa, fire pits and bocce ball courts. The Rosa Boutique is described as “unlike any other Tommy Bahama retail store,” with exclusive merchandise from the brand that you can only get at the resort, continuing a successful model for hybrid restaurant-stores that can generate 2.5 times the sales of a regular storefront. “Rosa Boutique's stock of men's and women's clothing and accessories, from dressy linens, swimsuits and coverups to golf apparel, and a not-so-basic boyfriend shirt, all embody Tommy Bahama's coastal attitude in a laid-back desert setting,” according to the news release. Guests can also take the clothing brand a step further by picking up Tommy Bahama-printed pickleball paddles or golf club head covers.
