The glittering awards ceremony celebrated the UK's top hotels, restaurants and pubs and the people behind them.
One of the industry's most prestigious and highly anticipated events, the AA Hospitality Awards span 15 categories, honoring the best hotels, restaurants, and spas across the UK, and celebrating individuals with awards such as the Lifetime Achievement Award, Chefs' Chef Award and more.
A beautiful residence in the heart of London, the Grade-1-Star listed building dates back to 1719, originally named Lanesborough House. Overlooking Hyde Park Corner and adjacent to the grounds of Buckingham Palace, it is one of the city's most iconic hotels commanding a prestigious location that straddles Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Mayfair.
The Lanesborough reopened in July 2015 after a major two-year renovation project by late, great interior designer Alberto Pinto.
The hotel comprises 93 rooms and suites including the Royal Suite — the largest suite in London — with seven bedrooms and bathrooms, two living rooms and a dining room.
"I am both thrilled and honored to be accepting this award on behalf of all the team at The Lanesborough and the wider Oetker Collection Group. Our guests don't see The Lanesborough as a luxury hotel — they see it as their home," The Lanesborough managing director Stuart Geddes said.
