Majid Al Futtaim and Ennismore to bring 25hours to Egypt

Majid Al Futtaim has announced a strategic partnership with Ennismore to introduce Egypt’s first 25hours Hotel, set to open at Junction — its forthcoming mixed-use business and lifestyle destination in West Cairo.

The launch will mark the debut of the 25hours brand in the Egyptian market, bringing with it a signature blend of bold design, immersive storytelling and vibrant community-focused hospitality.

Known for its offbeat charm and playful sensibility, 25hours Hotel will serve as a dynamic addition to Junction’s vision of creating a future-ready, culturally rich urban hub. Gaurav Bhushan, chief executive officer of Ennismore, said: “Ennismore is honoured to be partnering with Majid Al Futtaim to bring 25hours to Egypt for the first time, especially within a lifestyle destination like Junction. Each 25hours Hotel is inspired by the rich culture and history of its location, and we look forward to creating a strong sense of storytelling through design and community spaces.”

Akala: Arada’s AED5 billion ‘precision wellness’ development in Dubai

Arada has announced the launch of Akala, a new hospitality and residential brand positioned as the world’s first ‘precision wellness’ destination. The concept is designed to integrate advanced medical diagnostics, performance therapies and service-led hospitality within a single real estate development.

The flagship property, Akala Hotel & Residences, will be located between Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Downtown Dubai. The AED5 billion project consists of two towers, each 220 metres tall, comprising 534 branded residences.

His Royal Highness Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal, executive vice chairman of Arada, said: “With Akala, we are creating a sanctuary that reflects how people want to live today, where peak health, personal performance and rest are all part of the same experience. With an array of wellness facilities and services that is unmatched anywhere in the world, Akala is designed for the next generation of global citizens who want to live better, happier and longer.”

Marriott International and Dalands Holding to launch W Residences Al Marjan Island

Marriott International has collaborated with Dalands Holding, and with the support of ‘Marjan’, the master developer of freehold property in Ras Al Khaimah, has announced the signing of W Residences Al Marjan Island.

Set to open in Q4 2027, W Residences Al Marjan Island will be co-located with the W Al Marjan Island hotel, introducing a fusion of hospitality and residential living to one of the UAE’s beachfront destinations. This milestone marks a new chapter in Dalands Holding’s expansion into the UAE, building on its track record of developing boutique resorts and high-end residences.

“This launch marks an exciting milestone for Marriott International as we continue to grow our luxury residential footprint in the region,” said Sandeep Walia, chief operations officer, Middle East & Luxury, Europe, Middle East & Africa – Marriott International.

Barceló Hotel Group enters Bahrain with debut property in Seef district

Barceló Hotel Group has officially launched its first property in Bahrain with the opening of Barceló Hotel & Residences, Bahrain, a contemporary four-star hotel located in the historic Seef district of Manama.

The launch adds 195 rooms and suites to the group’s growing GCC portfolio and marks a strategic entry into the Kingdom’s hospitality market.The 20-storey property offers sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf from its rooftop, where guests can enjoy a rooftop pool, Sports Bar, and culinary concepts.

Orascom Development launches El Gouna’s Fanadir Shores and North Bay

Orascom Development has introduced two of its latest seafront real estate projects in El Gouna — Fanadir Shores and North Bay — to UAE-based investors during an exclusive event in Dubai. The showcase comes ahead of the Private Wealth Middle East Forum, where El Gouna is a platinum sponsor.

Fanadir Shores offers just 57 luxury units with direct lagoon access and views of the Red Sea. Located next to the Fanadir Marina and La Maison Bleue, the project features 2- to 4-bedroom residences designed for high-end coastal living. North Bay’s newly launched ‘Highland’ phase includes standalone villas, duplexes, and penthouses designed by architect Victor Legorreta, with prices starting at USD 1.8 million. The development also introduces ‘The Pavilion’, a new community hub for events and gatherings.
