In addition to its accommodations, Sands China revealed in the press release that the Londoner Grand will introduce five distinct dining concepts within The Londoner Macao. Notable venues include Hampton Court, offering an international and Chinese buffet, and Chelsea Garden, which will provide a range of local and regional Chinese dishes.
The Conservatory will include a dim sum restaurant, a British pub, and a confectionery store, along with two signature Chinese restaurants focusing on Cantonese and Sichuan cuisines.
This rebranding comes as the Sheraton Grand Macao prepares to exit the market after 12 years. Once the largest hotel in the Special Administrative Region, the Sheraton Grand has been temporarily closed for renovations, affecting Sands China’s second-quarter results due to the concurrent closure of the Londoner Grand Casino. Reservations for the Sheraton Grand ceased in late September.
Sands China anticipates that the Londoner Grand will partially open in December 2024, coinciding with the planned reopening of the Londoner Grand Casino. The first hotel tower is expected to be completed by year-end, with the second tower scheduled for May 2025.
